Yup it's good to see a restoration and loads of pics.  :grin:

vw-man, how about e-mailing jv@golfgti.co.uk and setting up a project thread for yourself so that we can check progress ? See the Projects section to know what I'm talking about, but basically you have your own thread to do pics and updates of what is happening for us all to see.  :grin: You cant pm jv by the way as you need 10 posts before you can use pm.  :smiley:

With all that work you're doing you might as well throw a bigger engine in there!

i dont want to change engine because that one is in wery good condition -1,5 JB 70HP. no so strong but  have only 80 000 from new and sounds wery good and healt,gearbox is 4 speed, alitle schort and i think to change it for 5 speed-we will see   :rolleyes:  so thank you very much for a nice welcome!!!!!!!!!!!
