Title: £200 increase on Adrian Flux renewal??
Post by: Lewy on 17 December 2011, 23:19
Just got back to Blighty after 2 weeks in Europe to find Adrian Flux have added £200 to my current premium for January's renewal.

Thanks a fcuking bunch!!  I've lost 3points from my licence in the last year, and haven't claimed for anything except for using the breakdown recovery which is extra that I pay for anyway.

I know HIC are a sister firm, but can they do any better?

Call Adrian flux up tell them you won't renew and see what price they give you

Brentacre increased £200 on my premium last January too, when I renewed. I carried on with them as they were STILL the cheapest anyway. This year they quoted me £1099. I rang around and Adrian flux quoted me £854.27, so I rang brentacre and told me to email them proof of the Adrian Flux quote. I did, then they rang me the next day saying they beat it and quoted me £830

I just can't justify why they wouldn't quote me that in the first place  :undecided: Obviously some people just go ahead and pay the first price they get given, and an easy amount of money for the company to keep

Admiral are £300 cheaper for me than sky, HIC, AF and BA all mods declared.
It seams as though all firms are pushing an increase of circa £200 this year

Well I rang them up and mentioned about the increase, only to be told it was only £50.   :embarassed:

God knows where I got £200 from, but on a lighter note, after a small conversation, they dropped it by £70 from last years cover.
