Title: bonnet not closing and bonnet sensor

basically my bonnet wont close on my mk4 golf turbo just goes onto the catch but wont lock it into place ie so its completely shut.. ive ordered another catch from ebay but is there anything else it could be..also whats the plug that comes with them aswell as mines doesnt have that on the   golf but ebay ones show pics off plugs with them thanks

The plug is the sensor, it checks if bonnet is closed to arm the alarm. It runs along the back side towards drivers side on the front panel.

Regarding lock it would be anything, my lock got bent during a minor bump so it could be a part got bent etc.

cheers mate yea its been in a bump of somesort ordered latch anyway to see if its that
