VW dealer rang me today , being built week 3 will be at the dealer mid February .

Might as well wait until 1st of March then .

Nice one, you got to wait for the new reg, will be hard though if its sat in the dealers waiting.

I did the same sort of thing a few years back, but couldnt wait when i saw the car in the showroom.

Same happened two years ago with my son when he bought a Golf R.

The point I was making was that the car was ordered late November getting built in January and delivered February. Why all the posts about late delivery issues ?

You're gonna love it! Mine was a cancelled order. I had intended to get a Tornado red one with the 19"s but after driving the Candy White the salesman did a great job on me, haha! I wish mine had the 510 stereo as I had this in my Scirocco and I miss the voice activation dialling. Enjoy!

My GTI had build week 4 .. which has now disappeared and it doesn't have a build week anymore ... VW UK can't tell me why... it's a load of bollocks!!! Glad you've got a week tho, keep us up to date please
