Title: cabriolet interiors?? pics of different ones?

hi guys, ive just bought a h reg golf gti cabriolet. im planning on gettin a full leather retrim but i want the best seats to start with before i pay out for a retrim. What different seats are they?? heated/height adjustable/lumbar support adjustment?? i really dont have a clue as this is my first mk1 so any help would be great

I haven't got any pics of mine, but I've got heated seats and height adjuster (if you can call it that) it only goes up and forward or back and down, no lumber support adjustment and the ones in mine are the best spec that VW did in a mk1 cab.

what model car did you get your heated and adjustable interior out of?? anyone know where i would be able to get this interior??

As far as I know the only cabbie's to have heated seats were the Rivage's as standard, which is what mine is. There was a blue Rivage interior for sale by Alps in the parts for sale section the other week with all the wiring etc, see if he's still got it for sale but it was Blue.  :smiley:

which cabriolets have recaro's?? is it only the sportlines??

As far as I know it is only sportlines that had recaros, the Rivage and Sportlines were out at the same time, sportlines being the sportier model with recaros as standard.  :smiley:

With only about 450 Sportlines ever made, I think you will have trouble tracking one down. I have heard of the Recaros from an Escort :undecided: being fitted though.

damn, im guna have to search high and low to get these, never mind! thanks for your help anyway guys and if any pop up ive got the money waiting, and i will pay good money for a set of these

The MK2 Front seats is a direct fit. You can get some Recaro Trophies which have electrical height adjustment as well.
Corrado fit also but they sit lower than normal.  :wink:
