Title: Rear Number plate bulbs

Brought them a few months ago and looking good BUT now one has gone and other one is having its own private disco (continually flashing) brought of ebay for about 4-5 ponuds. They are now 12 pounds onwards? Any decent ones? Some are saying error free? Just want some flaming bulbs that wont blow?! HELP

try and source some that are not chinese... when they say error free (can-bus?) i think they mean you wont get any check bulb messages on your dash.. im not sure on that though.

Mine have been fine Till recently. Anyone got a link to buying some they have now on their cars?

Don't worry about "Error Free" bulbs. The MK4 doesn't have CAN-NUS so wond indicate a light out.

Yes, SMD bulbs are a nice touch. Really make your rear end look smart  :wink:

I think mine were LEDs but there are loads of smds? 4.99 onwards? Do they blow like mine have? Will order now

i had "normal" led ones which soon failed, then bought some smd ones.. so far so good!

i knew they were aution numbers steve  :wink: :smiley:
but i would imagine white leds are white led`s full stop...
