For all those not willing to pay stealers prices, I have found a guy in Gateshead who has VAG-COM Software (and isn't afriad to use it!!).  D C R Auto Electrics, tel 07909 823610.  He works from a unit on a industrial estate off the Fellig bypass.  Call and ask for Dave.  Nice bloke.  Hope this helps.
