Title: Trolley jack
Post by: Hartside on 12 December 2011, 20:01
I'm after a decent trolley jack with a budget of up to £100. I've looked at some Sealey ones but I guess it's only their budget ones for that price. What else is out there that's decent for the money?

£100 should see you with a good bit of kit.

I have an old trusty halfords one, was their top one, 9 years on and one overhaul later and its still going strong.

If it's this one it looks quite good for the money. There's a Machine Mart not too far from us that I'll get over too for a look

These are our own brand, so are possibly made in the same factory, have you got a link to the Clarke one?

It does look the same, but the Eurocarparts one is 2T lift/457mm lift height vs Clarke at 1.25T lift/376mm lift height. Out of my league anyway at £162, unless further discount can be applied

It looks like its a lower spec of mine, but the same design - Our is more aimed at regular use in garages, which is why its a bit more expensive.

What about the 3 tonne quick lift @ £85? Or we have a cheaper 2t one :)

Is that the one shown in the picture above?

If so have you got some info on min/max lift height please. Is there delivery on top of this price or can I collect at a local Eurocarparts?
