hello

does any1 know wot the maximum load is that i should put on the roof bars of my mk2 golf? (8v '90 gti)??

any advice wud be great!!

Does it say in the manual?  (The thing I haven't opened?!)  Would be interested to know- bikes etc going on mine over the summer.....

I think the problem is not the weight they will hold, but what the mounts can take if you have to emergency stop.  I guess the limit is total (about20-25) as unless you have VERY strong bolts etc the bars will rip straight off if you prang it with much more than that??
