a passing thought

my mk2 gti 16v

its fully stripped, needs a few things doing to it "buckets, cage etc"
but in its current state, how much would it be worth? its done 130k start's first go and doesnt leak anything

you removed all the bits that gave it a value.

not very much, probably couple hunderd if even. you'd be better finishing it off and selling it as a trackday car

ive got a bit of spare cash to play with at the mo, and if i had something quick enough id have gone to gti festival, no point playing with the mk4 as its slow, and i cant get a vr6 till ive sold the xr3i chavriolet and the number plate, and i picked up this nice sparco bucket seat and 5 point harness and some other goodies for next to nowt and there sat in my shed wanting a new home, and as me old 16v was doin the 1/4 mile in flat 16.000's fully loaded with loads of stuff i figure a stripped out manky looking thing maybe worth having a piss about with..........
