Hello all,
Just part ex'd my mazda rx8 and bought a golf tdi 150 (18 mpg just isn't funny anymore). Was really impressed with the performance. Didn't realise they were that nippy. Can't wait to pick it up. I'll try and get some pics as soon as i can.
Regards,
Chilly

hi, welcome
get yourself down to carbon and have them work their magic on it. Gt Tdi's with a remap will be a completly different animal!!

Cheers for the warm welcome fellas. With regards a remap....i've heard stories of clutches failing after a remap or is this not so?

Its a 50/50 chance you take
A car with 50K on it might fail straight after a map and a car with 120K might not; its really down to how it's been treated in its past life
A standard clutch can take a stage 1 remap easily enough :afro:

Well picked it up today. Took it for a nice country drive, and very happy with it. Took a quick picture when i got home before the sun set. It's not the best quality as it was taken with my phone.
