Title: FM reception
Post by: dellenty69 on 09 December 2011, 12:03
i have a small shark fin antenna fitted on my mk4, now the reception is shocking and un usable now. if i pull the headlining down, and pull the main wires out the back a little, with them in my hand, my reception becomes perfect. i have tried a better earth by connecting it to my AMP ground, and other earth spots around the rear of the car. i also had to buy a aerial adapter so it could plug into standard wiring.

anybody shed some light?
