Title: No reversing light!

Well my haynes manual is really helpful here!
There is no mention of reversing light electrics in it whatsoever!
I've checked the fuse, intact, checked the bulbs, again intact.
The 12v  line to the bulb is dead.  What could be causing this problem and is the reversing light a requirement for passing an MOT?

could be the reversing light switch? its on top of the gearbox and has two wires coming out of it covered by rubber boots. think they are only cheap, not sure about the legalities of not having one. i've been told its not a fail but i'd still get it sorted.

cant help with problem but as far as i know you must have at least 1 working reverse light for the MOT.

I don't think you need one for the MOT, All Army Land Rovers don't have reversing lights, even when they are sold out of the army.

its not manadatory to have reversing lights but im near enough sure that if there is a clear reverse lense on the rear of the car then it must work.
