Title: Can the seatbelt warning sound be turned off???
Post by: ferris on 07 December 2011, 11:05
As soon as i pull away from the house the loud bleeping sounds to say 'put your seatbelt on'. I know i should put it on before i set off but sometimes i am only going 100 yards and the bleeping is so annoying.

Is there anyway of dissarming it???

Yes

You need VAGCOM / VCDS to do it

Can't you walk the 100 yards though

www.ross-tech.com

Basically a dealer diagnostic tool for the home user :afro:  New lead is approx £250 but you can save that by not having to visit the dealers if you have a problem should you get a warning light

Still no distance at all
