Title: which gauge pod shall i use ? (pillar pod in classifides)

First had no boost gauge now i have two lol

saw the vent one on edition but managed to get it cheaper after he put it on ebay (win win  :wink:) (wont need the boost gauge got one already, if anyone wants  it  :wink:)

and got the pillar one off a member on here  :smiley:

Which one do you think? im thinking the vent one  :cool: keep it out the way lol

i think vent pod for a more oem loom but thats just me

keep the gauge just buy the vent this is mine

 :grin: looks really good. Quite a good idea aswell to smooth the vent off. Hopefully looks  :cool: when fitted. Glad I didn't rush to fit the other one lol

personally prefer the pillar pod.

also dont like the look of the smoothed out vent, means that your not going to get any air flow out of it, also may have to block off the air flow in the dash so that the back of your pod isnt getting blasted with hot air?

the gauge thats in the pillar pod is the better one as it matches the cars dash lights will that fit into the vent pod?

yea there both 52mm gauges so will fit straight in

I don't have the new south gauge lol. Got a swoosh one from Wayne off here so will use that.

Guessing I will have to block air flow off somehow will look into it lol. Well the garage will :grin:

Ive got the newsouth,perfect colour match to dials and pillar pod covering matches standard grey perfectly.

i think they are cheap for what they are and what you get, and great quality. Much cheaper than an amouri etc.

does look good iv seen the whole assembly on awesome gti for £50 i think, might take a dremel to mine lol
