If there is supposed to be a light in the engine bay? i know some cars do, but does the mk4 have one?

I've got a V reg '99 GTI T and there's no light in the engine bay!  Sounds like a good idea though.

iam sure my old nova or fiesta had one, it was only a little bulb, but i wondered if i had one in the golf and maybe the bulb had gone or something  :smiley:

i havent got one on my mk4? ive had them in the past though on other cars, think alot of vauxhalls have them??????.. there easy enough to fit if you wanted one, they just want fixing into you sound proofing, wires running behind it, then through a pin switch mounted on your front/slam panel to the ignition etc.......
