Title: Troubles with cold starting and flashing beeping oil light?

cant get my mk3 2.0 8v started in the mornings, finally managed to get her going and when i did the oil light was flashing and beeping?
any idea what the problem is?

A beeping and flashing oil light usually means low oil pressure.

You checked the battery to make sure its ok?

The other thing is a faulty temperature sensor

temperature sensor on order but ive had no problems with the oil pressure light beeping and flashing until i had a diagnostic machine plugged into her today???

this time of year is when the batteries start to give up. it happened to me last winter had to get a new battery.

thermostat sensor has been changed, oil light stopped flashing and beeping and the battery is fine but still doesnt like the cold mornings???
