hi just joined this site got myself a mk3 8v gti in green last weekend totally standard nice nick plenty of history for £450 needs a few things doing but that wont take me long. also got a mk5 2.0 gt tdi any sensible mods for the gti?

Welcome to the forum... decent buy then for the money, you'll have to get some pics of it up when you can, we all like pics on here...

whats a sensible mod, performance or looks?... have a look at our MK3 Section (http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?board=8.0)   , plenty of useful info and people in there.

will get some pics up at the weekend need to get a new battery for it this weekend as well sensible mods well dont want to mess with it too much but was thinking strut brace poly bushes all round and maybe a k and n induction kit??
