Title: 2nd gear parts??

Hi,can anyone tell me what parts are needed to replace 2nd gear synchromesh,i've seen some parts on ebay but don't know what parts are needed to sort out 2nd gear crunch,as it crunches at any revs how long do they usually last?? Any info would be most welcome,cheers.
