ive tried to clean my engine like i did in the corsa.... way too many wires kickin about to steam clean or jet wash it so i have to do it by hand...
before....
after....
i need to paint the fan housing cos its rusty as hell... and what can i do to my rocker cover cos the paints coming off..... but not sure what to do without taking it off?
ive used back to black on the hoses and air box etc, not sure if its safe but it makes it look cleaner and shiny.....
and fairy liquid, a scourer and toothbrush to clean everywhere else
-
and how much will you charge to do mine? ;-)
-
I'd advise using engine and machine clearer rather than fairy liquid though.
always wash a cold engine as a hot one drys the cleaner before it's done it's business.
-
Sound advice there Dizzie.
-
did do it cold
fairy is gud for getting the muck off the pipes though
ive broke it now tho the temp gauge is right up and the lights flashing even tho the engine is defo cold
posted in the garage
please help me
-
leave it for a while water migh have messup the sensor wiring
worse case you may need a new sensor
-
the wires were earthing out
now its revving a bit between 1k-1.5k
-

Is all i can say......leave it for a while, these thigns occasionally sort them selves out on there own because water has got in everywhere
-
You've worked hard there..........can certainly see a big difference, great job satisfaction, I'll bet
-
gunna leave it til the morning and not drive it now... see what happens

Agreed. Care to hand that out in writing?

I'm suprised to hear a woman own up to it so readily. They'll be wanting to do our washing and ironing soon too.
While we're on the subject.
Why do women wear white wedding dresses ? Because all the other kitchen appliances are white too.
