Title: AUQ 180 smoking *Now with video*
Post by: Chris#101 on 03 December 2011, 15:29
Well Iv just fitted my 3" stainless turbo back system and my car seems to be smoking white/blue smoke when you rev it :undecided:

It did this everynow and again on first initialy start up of the day ie when the engine was cold litteraly for a few seconds (almost like it was clearing itself out) but now it smokes on pretty much every rev when the engine is hot or cold .

*Edit*
I have also noticed that my exhaust emmisions light has come on the dash could this have anything to do with it?

any advice welcome please?

Iv been keeping a close eye on all levels and ask appear ok and theres no water.in the oil and vice versa.

How ever I'm.not sure if its burning oil or over fueling as ever since fitting the exhaust iv got the emmision warning light on my dash as its a straight through pipe no cats!?

you say it usually does it 1st start up when cold, that's usually a sign of valve oil seals perished and oil leaking past the valve seals and sitting on top of the piston, then when started up the oil will burn which causes the smoke.
