Title: What i want....bloody car shows.....

As JV asked me today when i was going to get a car.....it got me thinking, aswell as being at Inters.....i want a MK2 again

But, i want to do it my way....my bro reckons i should get a GTi, but im think another 1.3C, i know what you are thinking "whats he thinking" but i just want a chrome airfilter and a really clean, empty engine bay....  :cool: :cool: :cool:

and im thinking, a cream leather interior with a few touches here and there, maybe sme minimalised seats, no headrests.....and a black maybe brown paintjob (you know that seventies style they had on mk1 escorts) and small bumpers with the chrome trim and cromed trimmed grill/window seals.  i would have to have the quater light front doors as noone has them and i like them... :huh:

And sitting low and some ronal turbos or wires :cool: :cool:

Yes, the journey was long and boring all the way back to the other side of london and i did alot of thinking whilst my brother took pictures of the front wheels whilst we where driving :huh: :undecided: :evil: :huh:

Some nice idea's there mix, but I'm really not sure about the 1.3C. For me it would have to be a GTI. What puts you off the GTI? Is it insurance and higher running costs? You can still keep the minimalistic look by cleaning, polishing, relocating components, skuttle removal etc.

Its just an idea at the moment.....and as im only twenty and a sudent can't really afford the insurance etc on a GTi.  And it would be different from what everyine else has done and if i get bored wih power i could always whack an engine in/squeeze some extra ponies out of the one in there.....

aparently not. Claire had wires on the mk1 so she'll answer that one better than me. I want a lighter interior now. I quite fancy cream, silver and black as I've seen that looking nice.
