best bet is post up in the mk4 section. loads you can do. remap is the 1st place to start (if not remapped) then bigger turbo, injectors & ic

If your going to go big power there is no point in wasting money remapping now as you will just have to get it mapped again once everything is fitted on the car.
Breaking 300 bhp is going to be expensive as you will have to get forged internals and a big turbo as well as many supporting mods. If you have a k03s then you can get 230-240, if you want more you will have to change the turbo, using a k04 you can get up to 280 bhp relatively cheaply compared to BT but you will still need many supporting mods.
Use the search function for details for what you will need lots of info there.

to start with your going to need a much better turbo then and intercoolers injectors and stuff

like all performance tuning, your cheaper to start off with your breathing mods, ie air intake and exhaust, wouldnt get a remap til uv done all the other small bits n bobs, that way ul get more value for money and of course more power
