Was a good day, met up with Gtijoe.......luckily for him the first random tall person he approached was me, could have been embarrassing other wise.  wandered around looking at all th lush cars, and the sheltered in the toilet as it rain as there was no where else to go.......
And it was at that point i realized that i was hanging around in toilets with people i knew form the net......  and i broke my sunnoes, but a bit of hand bending i fixed em pheeeewww
Carried an looking around, bumped into JV Topher (sorry for saying i would kill you........ (pause) on ET....) and Clair and said hello.....watched the track cars, there was a guy doing it his RS4 with kids in it
Was a good day, and I'm shattered now and gonna dream about buying and doing a car up to mint condition......

Went in 2003 & 2004...........camped at both, but couldn't make it this year
You certainly do get some fine looking dubs and Audis as your photo's show. Plenty of inspiration
Did anyone actually go camping this year? I hope so..........some of the best pics to capture the atmosphere of the occasion have come from our campsite
-
yeah, my favourite was the t reg (76 i think) orange polo, i loved the way the bonnet lighly over hanged the grill, and it was on sale for 2500 notes.....if only.....
You can see why i wanna do a car now.....i reckon it could be done with a bit of patience

i had a good-ish time, the weather sucked ass so i didn't get as many photo's as i'd have liked. i'll stick some up later. was good to put a few names to faces as well. i think i've been going to these things to often now, there wasn't alot that really stood out. you can tell worthersee was the same weekend as there was no westside or edition 38 presence. there was a nice mk4 with awesome schmitt th lines with black centres, which i did get a pic of.
it also made me want to get my car finished!!!!

-
any pictures of the camo MK1? I didnt see it, what was it like?
I went today and had a great day, better than last year but still no where near as good as "the good old days"!
I've been out of the scene for a few years (still made it to inters every year) and it was good to see some familiar faces.
-
Cool cars  ,sh!te weather ,
-
Hey chaps,
I went today and was pretty disappointed, weather etc. Had problems from the go. Picked my mates up who still live down my old street, so left my mums and saw oil on the floor (oh feck  I thought), anyway I drove on anyway. Then the power steering packs in (not a problem until parking )
Anyway, I think GTi International is just not the same as it was when it was at Crowthorne, although the show was better last year.
I thinks mees will give it a miss next year, I will go to a few other shows instead!
Got a new gear stick gaitor though, and waiting for some adaptors for my new set of BBS VR6 alloys!
Ps. WTF was that car that I was chasing? Red MK2 (with a LYING little 16v badge on the back! lol ) with his Red MK3 mate. I was the one with the Jetta front end MK2 with the plate 419 DYK steaming up behind ya! MK3 moved outta the way whilst the MK2 stormed off!  Mate who ever you are, tell us what your running, coz I reckon your motor rocks!

nice colour.
sh!t car.
-
The weather totally ruined it on Saturday afternoon, hope it was better today.
While it wasn't raining, I thought it was ok, good trade turn out, quite a few new show cars but nothing amazing.
-
i went last year and it seemed pretty much the same this year, even the gardening stall was in the same place. trowel for the car anyone? but tvr golf....... that man is crazy
-
Looking at some of the comments, apart from seeing TVRGolf, I'm glad I didn't make the 262 miles round trip. Sounds like it was pretty much the same as last year............rain included. I so wanted to go too, I feel better now.
Lets see lots of photo's, hear all the stories and did any of us arrange a campsite area like last year.........must be some stories to tell, if anything like last year
-
Yep Rich the show was very much like last year including the weather.
I'd gone this year with the intention of picking up quite a few bits, which I did so in that respect it was a success for me. As usual it was the weather that really spoilt the day, it was so damn cold standing around wathching the sprint and tyre testing that it took the fun out of it.
I also thought the tyre testing was much better when it was a tight twisty course rather than the slalom affair this year. Did see a guy pop his power steering system while I was watching though, plenty of entertaining smoke!!! (sorry if this was you).
Anyway here's a few of my pics:
Nice line up, real shame there was no mk1

I noticed in this months golf+ they were trying to identify the owner of this car for a feature so I guess it will be coming soon now.
