Title: Flashing Light - Where are the wires?!
Post by: JMallows on 07 May 2005, 21:20
Hi all. In my MK2 i have a little flashing LED that flashes when i remove my key, and stops with the key in. Basically one wire goes to +12, and the other goes to Ignition12V. I popped the wires into the terminals in the back of the fuse box. Now, i'm trying to fitone for a mate into his MK4, but i dont have a clue where these terminals are (If any?!?) and how to get at them? I tried to have a look at the back of the fusebox, but i cant see how to get it off. Can anyone help?

Cheers

you can find these wires easily by following wiring diagrams etc, but why would you want to fit a cheesy after market led to a mk4 golf????

If you do want to fit one tho, drop the dash panels down inder the steering wheel.  just above the pedals are 3 bolt terminals, +12v, ign and negative
