Recently finished building my sub box  :grin:

Isn't perfect but I'm happy with it.

Looks good - Try and hide the amp under the carpet for a cleaner look

Stupid idea to hide the amp! :rolleyes:

An amp needs to be in the open to stop it overheating!

Ha cheers, lookin at the pick I might just have to wrap the wires with some tape to make that tiny bit neater ha   :grin:

It's a mk4 and there are no rattles of which I can here quite happy with it overall  :grin:

I have had my amp in the wheel well of my mk3 for the last 6 months and it has never got too hot and it is constantly working as it is powering the speakers in the car!

Will get pics when I can :)

completley with Len...if you are gonna hide it though...install some fans at the same times...for the added cost it will save your £200+ amp going pop!

Alright Nate, I just took the removeable part from the off side panel in the boot and then took it to a auto trimmers to get the closest match possible.  :smiley:

You bunch of girls!  A very good box sir! Ive hidden my amp in the rear quater.  Had it like this for years without any problems.

They dont get that hot and its a class D amp that gets abused :undecided:

Mine is over on the other side, sort of hung over the wheel arch and therfore out of the way and open to air.

i like that. a lot! how did you make it?did you use fibreglass? also did you remove the first aid kit door thing or leave it there?
