Anyone got one of these? Im using my pad at the minute and hoping this will shave some off my lap times?! Ive heard the force feedback is good?!!
Any comments basically......
Oh, its the official microsoft force feedback wheel for those that cant be arsed to click the link

They do take a while to get used to which seems to be because it reacts in a very car like way but they are soooooooooooooo much better than using a pad! The feedback isnt the strongest but it is very subtle and carlike once you get used to it. You might have to change all of your favorite car setups too as it reacts very differently to a pad.

Thanks mate, it is actually awesome. Loads better than using a pad.
Anyway, I need some help on mounting it on something, what do you guys use? Im currently using it on my lap but this is no good as when I try n take a sharp corner I punch myself in the nuts.
What are those little tables called that are adjustable? I think one of those might be the best/cheapest solution.

I just use a small coffee table that I can just get my legs under along with an old recaro I have bang in front of the TV. Quick trip to the scrapyard or ebay for a cheap bucket seat and table will see you right.
