Thought I'd introduce meself, I'm Gary, I'm an Undertaker, I'm from Bilston, just outside Woverhampton and I bought a white 1990 Mk2 8v GTI at the weekend
It's been lowered on FK Highsports and drives lovely. It's a bit tatty but I'll be using it as my daily and bringing it back to it's former beauty over the next few weeks. Always owned old motors (including a "74 Bug and a Polo Breadvan) and enjoy working on them.

Hi,
I saw your post on here and wondered if you could help me at all.
I work for a company called Central Youth Theater in Wolverhampton. We are producing a comedy short based around the life of a Morris Traveller and its owner. The students on the film course are aged 10-19 and are working with professional script editors, cameraman and producers to bring the project together.
Part of my role is to source locations and props. I am currently looking for a GTI type car from the 90s and would like a Golf GTI really. We are shooting in Wolverhampton and the provisional date would be the 17th February.
The GTI is a raceoff which we will fake up in camera so we dont actually need to race it and we are using a quiet dead end road to do it in. These cars would not be driven they are for background use only and if they were driven the owners would do this.
This short 9 minute feature will be shown at the Lighthouse in Wolverhampton on the 11th March 2012. The project is funded by First Light and is part of the British Film Institute.
If you could help please e-mail me at loumacrae@gmail.com
