You know when you're bidding on something thats important its a Tuesday, so not many watchers on?
You need this to fix the house with this part and refuse to pay stupid prices from hiked up shops!
So you have 10 seconds left 10,9,8,7, and you press the bid button.....
does it go to the confirm page?
No it fu*ckin asked me to login again!!!! :lipsrsealed:
I'm on now in firefox and will stay on it until I've calmed down a bit!!!!
Rant over thanks for not replying in my current mood */-*/$£^%£$%"£$"£%%%"£%35£"%$£^%^$£%"£$^&*^&*+-/@~$"£$"£$£%%$!

we had a bad egg the other month... boy... that was very smelly!!
anyway... if you know this already why oh why are you still punishing yourself with IE?
-
Nah Shawn has converted me to firefox, but the images are sharper but more noticeable edging if that makes sense?
plus the laugh icon makes me dizzy it spins at speed of light
The other issues is the adblocking I have simple adblocker and scared to loose it, as I had it from day one everyone has to pay for that now

Google Chrome is miles better than Firefox

I've only got a P4 XP pro with 1.5gig ram I've heard it can be heavy on resources?
I'm struggling with Malwarebytes, rapport and kapaskey running constantly already!

IE will eat up more resources than Chrome
plus with Chrome you can run all sorts of apps etc from within the browser
we've got a P4 XP with 512MB ram and it's running Chrome and MS Security Essentials and some kind of child monitoring software all running happily in the background :)
-
I'll give it a try what about migrating simple adblocker over to it ?

the only ads i've ever been served have been on this site.. and that seems to have stopped now
-
I used Adblockon Chome and does a brilliant job. Most websites you won't even notice anything is missing when you get used to it. Don't use it anymore because Google like to track you if you use their Adverts on your websites/blogs etc and it's part of their terms of use, I already pissed them off once, well twice, so can't do it again
-
Yeah adblocker just gives you a nice canvas, plus those flash ads really pound my comps mem usage!
-
time for an upgrade!
-
Yep time to give the cockpunch and treat yourself to a macbook pro !! Once you purchase one of these you will never look back
-
Have you tried the "Rice" version of IE Jay? very good I hear :lipsrsealed:
Thom
-
haaaa!
Yes I have the rice version aswell it only slows it down to a crawl due to infinite character processing!
I'm just not an apple fan even though I do quite a bit of media processing converting.
I built my own PC so back in 2002 it cost me £1K back then, but its showing its age even though I can get it to go 4.4Ghz on a single die! 100% fan with external cooling, really hard to watch anything with decent sound!
Despite sounding like a RETARD LAST NIGHT I'm alright with hardware and software I was more pissed about missing the bid than anything else.
I was looking at this little beauty and add my phase cooler or water cooling not decided yet!

um it's inside the case that needs upgrading!
-
Nah its a shuttle LGA775 and not much space, plus the MB is intel and limited.
I did well to O/K to 4.4Ghz
Trust me I've gone through one PSU, two hardrives and three fans since ownership. It will die soon, been 9 years ALREADY
By the way it was a central heating valve I was bidding on LOL
-
what valve mate i might be able to help?
-
I had water drip down to the central heating valve power head it dried out, but fried the micro switch (signal to the boiler), valve still works, Its just now need to turn the hotwiter boiler on constantly juts to get heat.
The one I missed was going to cost me £11-£15 the shops wanted £45-£65
HONEYWELL 40003916-001 REPLACEMENT POWERHEAD

I used 13 3amp fuses before I realised it wasn't the boiler playing up :lipsrsealed:
I'll put pictures up I might need to ask about re wiring the thermostat to central heating, its not working British gas came replaced it about 5 years ago and its never worked. I don't think its hooked up, but the junction box is a nightmare something I've been putting off Alex and its winter now!

-
I don't want to break into the system!
But that £20 I put up one looks alright.
Jay
-
of course you don't want to "break into" the system as you call it
the link i suggested if you win it cheap will mean you have to remove 2 screws and then you have just the head.
if you are unlucky then my offer includes delivery
-
I hate ie7 and ie6 more.. People still use them so i still have to test my websites in them!! All they do is f**k stuff up.
