Post by: Organisys on 19 January 2012, 20:14: Jordan, get a CTN code box from a MK3 tdi. Apparently the ratios work really well with the G60 including a taller 5th to keep the revs down when cruising to give you better MPG.

You also improve the very short 1st and 2nd.

Lots of people have done this mod. Good news is a CTN box can be found refurbed for a few hundred queens heads.

lhd boxes are a pain at the best of times, even moreso when you have to chisel out rounded driveshaft bolts!

Supercharger rebuilt - It was already top spec so just a rebuild, no further mods
New oil feed pipe
Jabbasport induction kit - I like noise
Clutch slave cylinder thing
All red Hella rear clusters
Gearbox Replaced with an ASD code box, its pretty awesome having 'Normal' gearing on a G60, the gears are so short standard!

I think thats it!

When you say black wrap, do you mean something matte or satin to go over the gloss bodywork?

Started going down a similar route but never finished, satin black paint, smoked front lights, half smoked rears and possible mild window tinting....plans have changed in my head now.

I think it could work well on yours. What are you doing with that Grille though?

RJ four lamps would make it look more meaty but current look is clean if you use a front grill with four lamps I would delete the red line that goes around the frame to get it just as clean!

Are you that unsteady that you need a tripod and flash for shots like those? :grin:

the photos are very misleading... it was nearly dark when I took them! had to have a longer exposure.. hence why there is a ghost in one image!

anyway... the photos rock and I am the greatest for making a G60 look awesome!! :cool:

twiddle the knob on the top - I think I left it on aperture setting...
