Ok changed my top mounts today as I have been getting a sound from front wheel area when at low speed. Wasn't top mounts and everything els is ok so must be the coily.
Just want to how many other people have a noisy coilover or coilovers. Seems to be mainly when car is first driven when everything is cold. Kind of like a faint rubber rubbing sound when suspension goes up and down.
I did notice though on the side where the sound is coming from the plastic sleeve inside the coilover that covers the shock inside the coil is torn up.

My TA Technics pieces of crap are absolutely spot on tbf. Absolutely no rattles, knocking, rubbing etc etc. Very stable, if a little hard but thats what you expect from cheap stuff.

Yes, mine were very noisy, I coated them with spray on grease in the end which helped a lot.

Spray on grease ay? Hhhhmmmm sounds like a plan. I take it that's from a specialist place is it or can I buy it in halfrauds?

Halfords will sell it, any spray on grease will do the trick.
