Title: Which back box to fit?

i've had a new standard exhaust system fitted to my 8v as last one was knackered, its only one from your local tyre and exhaust center but it sounds sh:t  :sad:sounds like its farting rather than peering like it should, engine runs lovely but i'm just not happy with the sound of the exhaust

any suggestions as i was thinking of changing the back box for say a scorpion one ???

Depends on what you want. If you want loud get a Scorpion/ Ashley.

I've had or replaced all my Golfs exhausts with Magnex ones. I like the sound you get off them, quiet most of the time but loud when you hoof it :cool:

That sounds more like it quiet on tick over but loud when you boot it.
