Title: Are 3&5 door carpets and headliners the same?

Hi, just bought a 5 dr GTI 16v for the missus, but the interior Is a mess due to Previous owners dogs!
Will the carpets and liner fit from my donor car, (88 8v 3 door), as there mint! The 5 door has leather seats so they should clean easy!!

Carpets and boot liner are the same..

Headliner is different...

would have thought all carpet from 3 and 5 would be the same ,but have been told that the roof lining is not the same . :cool: :smiley:

headlining will fit just need to trim it down over the back doors if your putting a 3 door in a 5 door. The rubber covers it up afterwards anyway. I have done this in mine
