Title: tdi quicker than vr?????

met a lad today with a demon tdi mk3

it had

large fmic

audi 110 injectors with .216 nozzles

2.75" boost pipes

streight through exhaust with decat

turbo from a pd cant remember which

and a bloody good map

egr delete

tn1 modified tuning box

dyno print made 186bhp with 242lb-ft

it was trying to pull the road up seriously

and held 40 mpg

told him to get it  on here

Nick at Carbon did similar to a TDI.. i can't remember the specs but he has a video on youtube someplace.. iv seen it and it looked rapid.. deffo kill a lardy VR anyhow  :grin:

get him to post up the video of the clocks.. he showed it me when i was over last..im sure he said it was close to 200bhp ?

0-60 in about 7 secs? Pretty damn good for a mk3 soot chucker :grin:

Yes a TDI can be made quick than a VR, not really that hard to do plus you will have more torque, whatever happens however it will be out of revs @ 5000, this is one reason I prefer petrols.

even easier when you chuck the turbo from an x5 3.0d on one!! and it has been done - I have been in it!
