Title: Whine / humming noise on hillstarts

Hi,

My VR makes a slight whining noise when I'm doing hillstarts or pulling away "enthusiastically" from the traffic lights.  Tried turning on full lock but the noise isn't evident then. Clutch isn't slipping either.

Any ideas?  Car drives fine otherwise.

check v-belts for wear? could be power steering or something else like that?
