Title: throttle body clean

is this an easy procedure sounds ok getting it off and cleaning but how do i do a recalibrate if i've not got a vagcom will it sort itself out should i disconnect the battery ? also is there anything i should be worried about damaging ? 2.0l mk4 gti w reg !

r-tech did mine/ free. It ran bad after map. Get a friend to hold throttle down with engine off. Get carb cleaner spray on a cloth and wipe it out. Easy fix and sorted my problem .Thanks ben.  :wink:

Real easy mate and as said above. Can always do on your own too if you gently pull the throttle cable to open the valve. The car will self calibrate.
