Title: Warranty on milltek systems

Checking under mine tonight a work, found at rear box welding split near all way round and blowing . Still got bill £740 full system inc APR d/p with sports cat from awesome. bought april 2009 do i get onto milltek or awesomegti??

WArranty only for a year though.

Warranty doesnt cover bad workmanship.

Play unhappy with milltek.  Its a common problem.

when you say bad workmanship, are you referring to whoever fitted the exhaust?

It is bad workmanship for the welder who welded it

Thought it was a lifetime guarantee but only valid  for the person who actually brought the exhaust new?

This is true. Mine has a lifetime guarantee but only for me. If i sell it the new owner wouldnt be covered.

Going for stage 2 map in Jan see if Nick at rtech be able to wing it. I've invoice but not buyer have read warranty only valid for buyer, could say it was wife who paid as invoice paid by woman. Actual invoice was total was £2400, had done full system,d/p, koni adj suspension, powerflex rear bushes, APR map, cruise control and service all at awesome gti.
