Title: would i have lost my no claims bonus if i had a non fault accident?

as above. got hit back in june. want to insure my new caddy van and want to know if my no claims still stand

ring and check, I assumed mine would be fine as some twit hit me but I didnt wanna take it any further as there was no damage. I got a letter from his insurance saying he wanted to claim but I told my insurance not to do anything. I still lost my no claims :(

Mine was a non fault accident that was fully recovered by the other parties insurance. happened in june.

I have had 2 non fault accidents and still have my no claims. As long as the insurance companies agree it was not your fault then your no claims will be untouched which is why it's called non fault !!!!!

If the claim has been settled you will retain your NCB but you still need to declare it.
