Sky insurance are awesome. already posted in the insurance section but I'm so pleased with it I'm posting it in here as well. cheaper than most quotes for the standard 2.0!
-
Lucky bastard, that's a great deal right there!
-
i gota say the same about them. i asked about the 1.8t bam/amk convo on mine and its only £145 ontop of the insurance
-
Good result :afro:
Been even better when your older  , Brentacre did me a cracking deal on mine around £450 all in
-
oh wayne dont talk about brentacre, they wanted over a K for me
-
Not bad at all.
I'm paying £730 at the moment, mods declared (Upholstery, lowering, exhaust, alloys, air filter) - 21 y/o with 4 years NCB on my 8v. Thats with Admiral.
Might try Sky Insurance next year!

who quoted you that?! I was quoted that with only 3 years ncb, but if I got the conversion for £740 I'd imagine as standard it would be a lot cheaper than that
-

Thats the cheapest so far of the search engines, will go to the specialists nearer the time.
If it does not get any lower I am going to bus it for a bit while i save up for a Diesel :lipsrsealed:

engine doesnt matter as long as its a 1.8t they dont care which version it is (at least sky dont)
How many no claims do you have? I only have 3. I didn't shop around but with a 20% discount from Sky I couldnt see anyone being cheaper tbh. Nice price though :P

save yourself some money and drop a 1.8t in it
-
Im thinking about it, maybe even a diesel transplant.
Most likley sell the fecker and insure myself on my dads Uno 1.0 for a year then buy an A6 or something :lipsrsealed:
-
I'm with Brent acre, they got me just over 1k with my 6 points on an in10 so I'm happy. Plus its down the road from me!

-
i have full no claims since i wad 17 in 1994
they did want to know what 1.8T was in mine, i had to state the engine Code
-
ah ok, with mine they just asked engine size. I said 1.8t, the guy said so its a smaller engine than standard I said yeah but its more powerfull. That was that! I thought I may need to give the code but he never asked for it, I guess I'll find out when I get the mod declaration in the post which I need to sign and send back
-
yeah mine is on a special cover as its agreed value.. i had to fill in a bible hahaha
but its all declared and legal
as is the info on the V5..
-

Well it should matter, a 150bhp would be lower risk than a 180/225.
I had to confirm engine code on mine even with it being factory fitted.
-
I thought this too but they never asked me for it. fingers crossed then eh :P if worst comes its only the 150 anyway
