thought i would have a go, considering i had most of the bits laying around... :smiley: might not be to everyones taste.
not finished, but took pics to give you an idea..

Ive got a carbonio fitted to mine, just dont go near any deep puddles or floods and your be fine. Please whatever you do dont even attempt to go through ive read a few threads in the past where people suck up water. They make a lovely noise :smiley:

You could always go on the bay and buy some lengths of alloy pipe, silicone angles and jubilee clips. It wouldn't cost much for you version 2.

the whole point was to use drain pipe due to it being readily available... much cheapness :grin:

i like it as said cover with carbon wrap or paint it and it will look good, i thought my old bit of exhaust polished was good for an induction kit cant beat your use of a drainpipe though. :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

cheers for the positive comments guys... thats as far as it goes with the pipe though im afraid, no frills cosmetics for me. :sad:
the car to me, is a tat mobile doesnt look too impressive, which is how i want it to be honest.. as long as its mechanically good then i am happy.. it`s costing me more than i can afford to sort the mechanical bits out.

thats how i work save money on one thing and its money to put to another, saved a packet over the years making me own things and doing bits myself, i have a wife and 2 kids and a large dog so my budget is very low and takes me time to do things but get there in the end and enjoy every minute of it. :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

lol, had been thinking what could i make a catch can out of.. it`s quite complicated to diy neatly though.. can be done with the right materials and skills though.. :smiley:

you would need end caps ect for the downpipe to make a catch can which i dont think are available.
could probably make one out of soil pipe but at 110mm dia. its fat stuff! perhaps 50mm waste pipe would be the stuff to make it out of but then you gotta ask, is it oil resistant?.. i think abs is oil reisistant though.. :undecided:

^^^ get a cold air feed on the filter from front grill ^^^ i had this set up but filter was down side of the battery with a cold air feed and suffered no problems :smiley:

110mm interesting, was looking at plastic drainpipes today in BnQ, 68mm or 110mm was the choice and decided 110 was too big and 68 was too small :laugh:
