Yeah, I think shooting on film, or at least learning on film gives you an appreciation of how to compose a shot and get it right in the camera.
I need to get a film in my old SLR and shoot some more. Haven't shot any film since June.

You've got some really good shots there, very shallow DoF.
Are you still getting them processed and put on CD at Asda?

Very nice mate.

Considering picking up an old SLR off ebay and having a play about myself as I probably rely on my PSing skills far too much!

When I bought my DSLR I bought one that would take the same lenses as my film SLR.
So my film SLR is a Minolta Dynax (with AF and programme modes) and my DSLR is a Sony Alpha 350.

I actually nearly bought another film SLR at a car boot sale the other day, I spotted a guy selling a load of camera gear and he had an Olympus OM10 with a 50mm prime and a telephoto lens.
That said, I fancy a small rangefinder with fixed/prime lens. Quite a few of the old rangefinders had something like a 40mm f2.8 lens.

I have an Olympus OM10 with the 50mm 1.8 lens. They are awesome little cameras. Get the manual adapter and you have a small slr that is almost as small as a rangefinder. Plus the other prime lenses like 24mm and 35mm for the OM series are cheap as chips on ebay.

I fancy a film SLR, I've never owned a film camera.
