Title: Eibach Springs
Post by: xtetx on 21 November 2011, 19:31
Alright guys,

just wanted some advice really?

Whats the difference in ride with the Eibach Sportsline and pro kit springs?
Does anybody use them on here?

Pro = -30mm
Sport = -50mm

That's the obvious difference

I had the Pro's together with Bilstein B4 shocks; ride was firm but not back breaking  :smiley:

Pro's are a more OEM look and come black in colour

Sport kit is more harsh ride and red colour and generally lower

Go back to the police and ask them to take it further etc, or speak to someone higher up.

Sorry to hear about your accident mate  :sad:

I've been using Eibach pro kit springs with standard shocks for about a month now & the ride quality is very good, no rubbing or problems with speedbumps etc.

I know richw911 is a big fan of these as well.

I have a 150 diesel that I am about to put diesel Anni set up onto. 1 rear spring needs replaced and even with discount at VW , its gonna be near £70 for the 1 spring.

Should I just get a set of the Pro springs and use these instead. Would the -30 mm make the ride too harsh??

Help appreciated here

Thanks

Standard 16" mont 2 's over the winter and then 18" BBS RC's next spring

I'm running the same wheels & haven't noticed any difference in the comfort of the ride.
The car takes corners better as well.

Apparently they are the same springs used on the 25th anniversary gti's, not 100% sure on that though.
