i got a good guide.....
don`t do it!
-
power from battery to fuse, (fuse located as close to battery as possible) power wire from fuse to + of amp.
- of amp to earth
phono leads from head unit to amp
wires from chanel of amp to sub
-
sub and amp are combined so they are wired up, so all wiring i need to do on amp now is power cable, earth and phono leads no other wiring needed?
-
remote from head unit
-
is that 2 wires?
-
what coloures do i need to wire them two?
-
+ve on amp usually red from battery.
-ve on amp usually brown from ground.
Remote on amp usually blue from headunit.
Remote = 1 wire and is basically a 'switch' telling amp to turn on when headunit is turned on.
Phono is the twin leads that carry the sound from headunit to amp.

-
will be plugged into the blue/white wire that comes off connection block that comes out of headunit
-
the one with the rubber cap on it?
-
Dont know which block is which tbh from picture..
got a multimeter?
-
small block is headunit
-
Then yes, one with rubber on it probably, whats on the end of the long one you cant see the end of?
-
nothing that was just tapped up
-
tried wiring today and now my stereo wont come on works in my van but not car, also i carnt seem to get any power to the sub, which terminal does the fuse need to be on?
-
Inline fuse goes on RED lead coming from battery + to +ve on amp. As close to the battery as you can get.
Sub's themselves dont need power, amps do..
-
just messaged you. ill take some pics now and show you what ive got so far, also any idea why the stereo wont work in car but does in the van?
