Hi was watching an r32 steering wheel great condition on eBay and he had it started at 50 ad buy it now for 275 iirc. No one bidded so it ended. Now I haw just emailed him asking how much realistically he would want.
He emailed back saying make an offer. Question is how mch should I say?
Thanks. If he comes back with a price and it's too expensive for me I'll post it on here as maybe someone else will want it

2nd hand? :undecided:
I'm obviously out of touch of the price of new ones as I paid £190 delivered from German Ebay approx 3 years ago
I'd pay no more than £175 2nd hand if new prices are around £250

If i remember correctly when i rang vw about a new wheel they quoted me something like £290+vat just for the wheel, nothing else. It was cheaper for me to get a retrim.

At £275 buy it now, I don't think he is gonna want anything less than £200! :undecided: Offer £150 take it or leave it! It's a fair whack just for a wheel, but it's a huge improvement on the original!

was gonna say offer 150

Will anyone else want it for £150 if he says yes? Not sure when I'll be able
To get money lol

Would love one, but same situation as you, haven't got a spare £150 sitting around for a steering wheel! :undecided:

Do you know the condition as when they get older the leather wears really bad and they go all shiney. Have you seen close up pics?
There is one on Ebay with airbag for £355.

Any idea what sort of price a retrim is?

Pretty much what Steve says, your looking at anywhere between £100 and £150 depending on what leather/finish you go for

in my opinion, you`d have to be either rich, or crazy.
