try brentacre insurance. they are run by people who own dubs them selves  :smiley:

i couldnt get a better quote for mine and i have loads of mods to engine and chassis.

Brentacre are on 01792 650933, that's who I'm with, they were slightly cheaper than my renewal from the old company but be warned, they do load up the excess ! But on the other hand I've done some mods to mine since I took out the insurance (lowered, exhaust, filter, clear indicators) and when you tell them they just say, fine, I'll let the company know and they don't charge anymore, probably be different if you stuck a 20vt in though :grin: but you get my drift. :smiley:

i had a quote off Brentacre when i had my mk2 16v, i could mod it as much as i want as long as it didnt go over 150bhp

All very well but if you crash and cant replace bits for standard they wont pay out and you will loose out...

yeah velly thats what i have  :wink:  its great i can do any thing as long as it stays below 150bhp :wink:

alloys, brakes, exhaust, body mods, interior mods and even a rollcage it can all be done with just telling them that its there  :grin:

they replace like for like and give you a policy on agreed value not book value.

i have had some hasle with them when some goon parked his fireblade in my boot but thats just insurers in general................. all in all i think there pretty good
