It seems I just couldn't continue without my beloved xenons so have done a deal and the Gti gets traded in at the end of the month.
I think the Mk6 is a superb car and such a brillaint all rounder that i would have no hesitation either recommending or in fact owning another. In my humble opinion, best seats, wheels and steering feel by far of any of the Hot hatch offerings and a wonderful torquey & economical engine.
Over the next week or so the following will be available, all in exceptional condition.
ITG Intake kit - £200 posted
The Ultimate Brake Set Up
AP Racing 4 Piston BBK - 3,000 miles, red in colour, including braided hoses and new fluid - £1325 - SOLD
The Perfect Winter Alloy Set
Full set of 18" Monza, grey inserts complete with Hankook Ice Bear winter Tyres, 3 wheels are perfect, one has a very small scratch on the grey inner, 2 tyres brand new (7.5mm), 2 covered 2,000 miles (7mm) - £1175
Pics etc to follow, based in the midlands.
Thanks for looking

It's a shame you're jumping ship so soon, what's next on the agenda? S3? BMW?
Having driven mine a fair bit in the dark this week I have to say the xenons do make a massive difference to the lighting. The last time I did any sort of meaningful driving with the lights on was a blast down to Cornwall and back over 24 hours in October. On the A30 I noticed an improvement over the standard lights with uprated bulbs but not £1100 worth. However this week I've been driving around on all types of road and really noticed a difference.

One thing i really wish i had on mine is the xenons had them on my last 3 cars, im keeping an eye out on the non oem ones at the moment.
