Title: wheel Experts
Post by: negawsklov on 17 November 2011, 13:19
Hi guys

My head is all in a spin at the moment after working 30 hours straight so some assistance would be cool.

The missus is at home and I'm still at work and she has seen some rims she wishes to order for the Gti. They are 8/9x16's with an ET of 25 front and 20 rear, car is sat on FK coillies. I've tried to research off sets etc but my brain is fried!!!!

To get them to fit (excluding arch work as being sorted already) will they fit with spacers etc and if so what diameter do I need to tell her to order.

Cheers guys - roll on sleep!!!!!!

You will not need spacers, et20 on the rear will need arches rolled / pulled.

Deepends on tyre size but 195/45/16's should be ok, you might need to tweak the inner liner and lip a little however.
