o.k, i have a low budget to spend on a turbo..
my spec to match will be :
calibra injectors
vr6 maf housing
fmic
007p
enclosed cone filter / or moved to cooler loc.
i would prefere to keep the k03s platform, ie, manifold TIP ect so i dont have to spend out again..
how much do you think it would cost me to hybrid my k03s and what sort of power should i expect?..
cheers, jamie.

last time I looked at hybriding it was around 600 + a k03/03s and 260-280 seems to be the result with bigger maf, injectors and fuel pump after mapping.
k04-001 makes sense (IMO) as its an almost direct replacement for the k03 and with supporting mods 250-260 must be possible without all the hassle of going k04-023 nor trusting that the hybird has been manufactured correctly.
840 for a new k04-01, sell the old turbo for a ton and its close to hybrid costs

Bolt a k04-023 cold side on your k03s or a ko3... Not tried it with a k03/s yet but doing this with my k04-001 made 300bhp.

Hmmmm, wonder if it would work on a k03....>I happen to have a spare in garage.
Exhaust turbines the same size on a 3s to a 04-001?

no, only the 3 and 3s share the same turbine..

do you think it would really be worth it?.. i was thinking of going with something like littco`s setup with a full k04-023 in a k03s housing?..

sod it, it`s less work for me to just just bolt 023 onto the k03s..... would be fun to see and would be different too... :lipsrsealed:
