Title: My Mk2 with RA's and newly aquired RS's
Post by: richie2480 on 16 November 2011, 13:48: Ok, these are my first test fit for the RS's I bought a couple of weeks ago. I have 2 sets of BBS, the original RA's and now the RS's. I've stuck to 15" for the RS's. My RA's are 15" and so I don't have to worry about adjusting coilovers when I change them over. Very happy with both sets. Only thing left to do now for alloys is get myself a set of red centre cap badges for the RS's so that there is some contrast against the white and blck/grey. And what a pullava that is. I have seen red centre cap s fitted on RS's at shows and so I thought "Oh I'll just contact a BBS dealer and order a set". Well no, not that easy. BBS Europe 'don't do' red BBS badges. They are only available in Japan or USA, DUH!! I've e-mailed BBS Germany asking why they don't do them and waiting for a reply. Been in contact with a guy in the States and they are quoting £44-£50 per badge. OUCH! Oh well if that's the penalty I suppose that is what I will have to pay. Still waiting for reply from BBS Germany though.

Got mine from a guy up north. They were on his G60 that he's had garaged for the [ast couple of years as he can't afford to run it. You've got to love the recession!

Yeh, wrong size. I need the 70mm with the three tab fitting. No-one does them over here. I have been in contact with USA and have tracked down a potential over here but not mentioning any names etc till an outcome. I know they ain't going to be cheap but that's pretty much the same for anything BBS.
