Title: Add another single din slot ?

I'm planning to install carputer to handle my music gps bluetooth for phone etc but I want to keep my original stereo so any ideas where I could fit another single din slot I was thinking where the cigarette lighter and ashtray is or the big hole at the bottom of centre console any ideas ?

I've seen someone with a double din installed in the low pocket. That would probably be the easiest way of doing it. If you're handy with the fibreglass it could look quite tidy too.

Cut a hole at the back of the ashtray, and mount one inside the ashtray. You'd never know the sort of thing you have then when your parked up. Hide your install away or take it with you, and push the ashtray back in = basic headunit only. Job done!  :smiley:
